Features and usage guide for TatsumNow — creative automation and design platform.

Overview

TatsumNow is a creative automation and collaboration platform. You can design creatives in the Designer, scale them to multiple sizes with the Resizer, generate variations with the Variator, and manage assets in the Media Library. Templates are stored in your Dashboard and can be driven by Google Sheets for live copy and data.

Designer — File

File operations for the canvas.

  • New — Start a new design (Ctrl+N).
  • Open — Open a saved template from your dashboard (Ctrl+O).
  • Save — Save the current design as a template (Ctrl+S).
  • Export — Export the canvas as PNG or JPG, or use Export Resizes / Export Variations for batch output.

Designer — Edit

Editing and layer controls.

  • Undo / Redo — Ctrl+Z / Ctrl+Y.
  • Layer Up / Layer Down — Change object stacking (Ctrl+] / Ctrl+[).
  • Crop — Crop the selected image to a region.
  • Convert Shape into Image — Rasterize a shape to an image.
  • Hide/Unhide Guidelines — Toggle guide visibility (Ctrl+;).
  • Lock/Unlock Guidelines — Lock or unlock guides for moving (Ctrl+').
  • Slices — Define export regions (slices) on the canvas.

Designer — View

Zoom and panels.

  • Zoom in / Zoom out — Ctrl++ / Ctrl+-.
  • Actual Size — 100% zoom (Ctrl+0).
  • Fit to Canvas — Fit the canvas in view.
  • Layers — Open the layers panel to reorder and manage objects.
  • Info — Show object/canvas dimensions and details.
  • AI Design Analysis — Get AI feedback on the design.
  • New Guide Layout — Create a new guide layout (e.g. column/grid).

Designer — Insert

Add content and guides.

  • Image — Insert image from device or Media Library.
  • Text — Add a text box.
  • Text on Path — Place text along a path.
  • Shape — Add rectangle, circle, polygon, star, etc.
  • Brush Tool — Draw freehand with the brush.
  • Pen Tool — Draw paths and custom shapes.
  • Vertical / Horizontal Guideline — Add alignment guides.
  • Remove All Guidelines — Clear all guides.
  • Mask an Image — Apply a mask to the selected image.
  • Toggle Mask/Image — Switch between editing mask or image.
  • Tags — Add or manage tags for template organization.

Designer — Filters

Image filters applied to the selected object.

Basic Adjustments

  • Brightness/contrast and basic adjustment, Artistic effects, Motion blur, Custom matrix.

Color Effects

  • Grayscale, Sepia, Sepia 2, Invert, Remove color, Tint, Black & white.

Edge Detection

  • Sobel (horizontal, vertical, combined), Laplacian, Laplacian diagonal, Prewitt (H/V), Edge enhance, Ridge, Outline.

Advanced Sharpening

  • Unsharp mask, Sharpen strong, High pass.

Designer — Properties

Open the properties panel for the selection.

  • Text — Font, size, color, style.
  • Shape — Fill, stroke, corners, dimensions.
  • Drop Shadow — Shadow for selected object.
  • Gradient — Linear/radial gradients and color stops.
  • Image — Replace, crop, filters.
  • Brush — Brush size and color.
  • Transparency — Opacity.
  • Alignment — Align and distribute objects.
  • Resizer — Resizer rules and settings for this template.
  • Variator — Variator rules and settings for this template.

Resizer

The Resizer creates multiple sizes from one design. Open it from the Dashboard or via the Designer (Export → Export Resizes). Define output dimensions and rules; text and images can be repositioned or scaled per size. Use Properties → Resizer in the Designer to attach resizer rules to a template.

  • Add multiple output formats (e.g. social, display, story).
  • Rules control how elements adapt (position, scale, font size).
  • Export all sizes at once (e.g. PNG/JPG).

Variator

The Variator generates many variations from one template using a CSV or data source. Replace text and images per row to produce multiple creatives. Open from Dashboard or Designer (Export → Export Variations). Use Properties → Variator in the Designer to set variator rules and placeholders.

  • CSV-driven text and image replacement.
  • Batch generation and export.

Media Library

Central place for images and assets. Upload, organize in folders, and use assets in the Designer, Resizer, and Variator.

  • Upload images and files.
  • Create folders and move items.
  • Search and filter; use in Designer via Insert → Image or side panel.
  • Trash and restore; permanently delete when needed.

Dashboard & Templates

Your designs are saved as templates and listed on the Dashboard. You can open, duplicate, move to folders, share, tag, or move to trash.

  • Open a template in the Designer or Resizer/Variator.
  • Organize templates in folders.
  • Share templates by email; revoke access when needed.
  • Tags help filter and find templates.
  • Trash: move to trash and restore or permanently delete.

Google Sheets

Templates can be connected to Google Sheets so copy and data update from a spreadsheet. Use this for localisation, A/B copy, or data-driven creatives. Configure the sheet URL and column mapping in the template or Variator flow; changes in the sheet can drive live or batch updates.
